The Short Version
The tracker is free, and stays free. Food log, weigh-ins, water, one daily target, streaks, girths, workouts, export and import. No account, no card, no time limit.
Pro starts with 14 days free. The Monthly ($19 a month) and 6 Months ($99 every six months) plans begin with a free trial for a new subscriber. A card is taken at the start. Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged.
Then it renews automatically until you cancel. We email you before every charge, with the amount, the date and a one-click cancel link. Cancelling is online, immediate, and takes one tap.
You have 14 days to ask for any charge back — unless you used the app after the 7th day following that charge. One courtesy refund per year; the law's own refund rights are never capped.
Everything below is the same four rules, said precisely, plus the ordinary terms every service has to carry.
1. Who We Are, What This Covers
Fighter Cut is operated by SARL Machetto Douglas, a company
registered in France, at 161 Rue de la Confrérie, 74500 Publier, France ("we",
"us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for the Fighter Cut app
(iOS and web, including app.fightercut.com), the website at
fightercut.com, and the Fighter Cut Pro subscription.
By using the app you accept these terms. By starting a free trial or buying Pro you also accept the subscription terms in sections 4 to 10, and you give your express, affirmative consent to automatic renewal as described there. The Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and, if you take part in the referral programme, the Partner Terms sit alongside these.
Fighter Cut is for people 13 and older. If you are 13 to 17, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to use it. To buy Pro you must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), or a parent or guardian must make the purchase for you. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, and we delete it if we learn of it. See the Children section of our Privacy Policy.
2. The Free Tier And Pro
The free tier is the whole tracker: the food log with the bundled food database and unlimited custom foods, weigh-ins and the full history, water, one daily target, streaks, girth measurements, workout capture, and export and import of everything you have entered. It needs no account and no payment, and nothing in it expires.
Fighter Cut Pro adds the cut planner, macro cycling, the full nutrient panel, catalogue search, the supplement advisor and comparator, meal plans and presets, body composition, full charts, the training-load advisor, Apple Health sync, CSV export, and an ad-free experience. The app names every Pro feature at the point where it is withheld.
Two things are never withheld, whatever you pay: safety — every rate-of-loss verdict, risk flag, rehydration and head-trauma warning, WADA flag and nutrient ceiling — and your own data, including the backup, the import, and account deletion. A lapsed subscription never locks you out of what you entered.
3. Accounts
The tracker never needs an account. Pro does: the subscription is attached to an account so it follows you across devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us through the app (Settings › Help › Contact us) if you think it has been used without your permission.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings › Account. Deletion is real, not a deactivation, and cancels any active subscription with it. Delete an account in the middle of a paid period and the remainder of that period is not refunded, except as section 9 provides.
4. The Free Trial
The Monthly and 6 Months plans begin with a free trial of 14 days for anyone who has not held a Fighter Cut Pro subscription before. One trial per person, per account. The Lifetime plan has no trial.
A payment card is collected when the trial starts. Nothing is charged during the trial. The exact date and time the trial ends is shown to you when you start it, in the confirmation email we send at once, and in Settings › Pro throughout.
Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged anything, at any point. You keep every Pro feature until the end of the trial period even after cancelling. If you do not cancel, the trial converts into a paid subscription at the moment it ends: your card is charged the plan price, and section 5 applies from then on.
We email you 4 days before the trial ends to say so, with the amount, the date, and a cancel link — whether or not the law where you live requires it.
5. Subscriptions And Automatic Renewal
Automatic renewal. Fighter Cut Pro Monthly and 6 Months are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each period, and your card is charged the price of the plan at each renewal, until you cancel. Monthly renews every month at $19.00; 6 Months renews every six months at $99.00 (US dollars; the price and currency shown to you at checkout are what you pay). Where a free trial applies, the first charge is made the moment the trial ends. You may cancel at any time, online, by one click from Settings › Pro or from the link in any subscription email; cancellation stops the next charge and keeps your access until the end of the paid period. Full details of how to cancel are in section 6, and of refunds in section 9.
| Plan | Trial | Then | Renews |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | 14 days free | $19.00 | Every month, automatically, until cancelled |
| 6 Months | 14 days free | $99.00 | Every six months, automatically, until cancelled |
| Lifetime | None | $200 once | Never. It is a one-time purchase |
Prices exclude any sales tax or VAT the law adds where you live; the checkout shows the total before you confirm. Payment is taken by our billing provider (RevenueCat, with Stripe underneath) from the card on your account. If a renewal payment fails, we retry for a short grace period during which your access continues; if it still fails, the subscription ends and nothing further is charged.
Referral credit earned under the Partner Terms is applied automatically to your next renewal and your card is charged the difference. Credit is never paid out in cash.
You confirm at checkout that you have read these terms and consent to the automatic renewal described above. That confirmation is the affirmative consent the law requires, and the confirmation email we send is your copy of it.
6. How To Cancel
Cancelling is online, immediate, and does not require you to call, write, or explain yourself. There are three doors, all the same door:
- In the app: Settings › Pro › Manage or cancel subscription. One tap opens your billing page; one click there cancels. This is the "click to cancel" the law asks for.
- From any subscription email: every email we send before a charge carries a Cancel or manage button that opens the same page.
- On the web: sign in at
app.fightercut.comand use the same Settings row.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for (or at the end of the trial), and you keep Pro until then. No further charges are made. We do not offer you a "retention" deal you have to decline first, and we do not require a phone call for something you agreed to online.
The referral credit you have earned stays on your account after cancellation and is applied if you subscribe again, subject to the Partner Terms.
7. What We Send Before A Charge
We will never charge you without telling you first. Every notice names the product, the amount, how often it is charged, the calendar date of the charge, the date by which you must cancel to avoid it, and a direct link to cancel. In particular:
- A confirmation the moment you start a trial or buy Pro, containing these renewal terms, the cancellation policy and how to cancel.
- A reminder 4 days before a free trial ends and converts to a paid subscription.
- A reminder 4 days before each Monthly renewal.
- Two reminders before each 6 Months renewal, about 33 and about 20 days before the charge, so that whichever window your state's law prescribes, one lands inside it.
- For Monthly subscribers, a reminder once a year, before the renewal that carries the subscription past each twelve-month mark, restating the plan, the price, and how to cancel.
Notices go to the email address on your account, in the same medium you used to subscribe. They are required by law and by these terms, are not marketing, and cannot be opted out of while a subscription is active. Keep your address current in Settings › Account; a notice sent to the address on file counts as delivered.
8. Price Changes
If we change the price of your plan we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you, with the new price, the date it takes effect, and how to cancel. The new price applies only to renewals after that date. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before it; nothing else about your plan changes if you stay. Where the law where you live requires your fresh consent to a price increase, we will ask for it and, absent it, either keep your current price or end the subscription at the end of the paid period — never charge the higher one.
9. Refunds
This is our refund policy. It is in addition to, and never instead of, any right the law gives you (see section 10). Where the law is more generous, the law wins.
The rule
- Every charge opens a window. You may ask for any charge to be refunded in full for 14 days after the day it was made. This applies to the first charge after a trial, to every renewal, and to the Lifetime purchase.
- Using the app past day 7 ends it. If you use Fighter Cut — open it signed in to the subscribed account, or use any Pro feature — after the 7th day following the charge, you have accepted that period and it is not refunded. Use on or before the seventh day does not affect your refund.
- One courtesy refund per year. We issue at most 1 refund under this policy on an account in any rolling 365 days. This cap does not apply to refunds the law requires.
- A refund ends Pro immediately and stops all future charges. Everything you logged stays on your device; the free tracker does not depend on a subscription.
How to ask
Settings › Pro › Request a refund. The app tells you before you tap whether the latest charge qualifies and why. A qualifying refund is issued at once to the card you paid with and usually appears within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. If we cannot issue it automatically, your request is recorded and a person processes it. You may also ask through Settings › Help › Contact us, choosing Billing.
What is not refunded
- Time remaining on a period you cancelled — you keep access to the end of it instead.
- A charge made more than 14 days ago, unless the law says otherwise.
- A charge in a period you kept using past day 7.
- Charges reversed by chargeback rather than by asking us: a chargeback ends the subscription and the account may be closed.
We do not refund by cash, cheque, or to a different card, and referral credit is never converted to money.
10. Your Statutory Rights, Including The Right Of Withdrawal
Nothing in these terms limits a right that consumer law where you live gives you and does not let you waive. In particular:
European Union and United Kingdom
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have the right to withdraw from the subscription contract, without giving a reason, within 14 days of the day you started it — that is the day the free trial (or, without a trial, the subscription) began. The Court of Justice of the EU has confirmed that this period runs once, from the start of the trial, and does not restart at each renewal.
By starting a trial or subscription you ask us to begin providing the service immediately, during the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that if you withdraw after the paid period has begun we may keep an amount proportionate to the service supplied up to the moment you told us. In practice our refund policy in section 9 is at least as generous as that — a full refund within 14 days of any charge — and we apply whichever is better for you.
To withdraw, use Settings › Pro › Request a refund (inside the withdrawal period this is granted regardless of section 9's usage rule), or send us the form below by email or post. You may use the form but do not have to.

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the Fighter Cut Pro subscription, ordered on [date], under the account [email address].
Name of consumer: · Address of consumer: · Signature (only if on paper): · Date:
France
Under the Code de la consommation, articles L221-18 to L221-28, the same 14-day right applies, and your express request for immediate performance with acknowledgement of its effect on that right is given at checkout as described above.
United States
These terms are written to satisfy the automatic-renewal laws of California (Business and Professions Code §§17600–17606), New York, Massachusetts, Colorado, Illinois, Vermont, Virginia, Minnesota, Utah, the District of Columbia and every other state with such a law: clear disclosure before you agree, your affirmative consent, a confirmation you can keep, reminders before renewal, and cancellation online by the same means you subscribed. Where a state grants you a right beyond these terms, you have it.
Australia, Canada, and elsewhere
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under your local consumer law, such as the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing here excludes them.
11. Founding Fighters And Referral Credit
Accounts created during the TestFlight beta, and holders of a founding code, keep every Pro feature permanently at no charge. That promise is recorded against the account, does not expire, and is not affected by anything in sections 4 to 9, which apply only to paid subscriptions.
Referral credit is governed by the Partner Terms. It is a discount on what you owe us, never cash, and a refund or chargeback of the payment that earned it reverses it.
12. Using The App
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own training and nutrition. You may not resell it, share one Pro account among several athletes, reverse-engineer it, scrape it, or use it to build a competing service. We may suspend an account used to attack the service, to defraud the referral programme, or to farm refunds.
Everything you enter is yours. The app is local-first: by default your data lives on your device and, with an account, weigh-ins sync so they survive a lost phone. You can export all of it at any time from Settings › Data, and you can delete it. Our handling of it is described in the Privacy Policy. The app, its code, its content and the Fighter Cut name and marks are ours.
Only upload photos and files you own or have permission to share. We remove content when we receive a valid copyright notice, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers. How to send a notice or a counter notice, and our registered agent, are on our Copyright and DMCA page.
13. Not Medical Advice, And Our Liability
Fighter Cut is a planning and tracking tool for athletes. It is not a medical service. We are not doctors, registered dietitians or licensed healthcare professionals, and nothing in the app — cut plans, targets, supplement information, WADA flags, safety verdicts — is medical advice or a substitute for it. Weight cutting carries real risk. Work with qualified professionals and your commission's medical officer for anything that matters on the scale or in your blood, and stop if you feel unwell. You use the app at your own risk and remain responsible for your own decisions.
We provide the app with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we exclude other warranties, and our total liability to you in connection with the app or Pro is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude, and nothing limits the consumer rights described in section 10.
14. Changes To These Terms
Every version of these terms carries a date. If we change them in a way that affects a paid subscription — price, renewal terms, the refund rule — we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you may cancel before it does. Other changes take effect when posted here. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect is acceptance of it; a subscription is always governed by the version you were told about before the charge in question.
We may withdraw or change features of Pro over time. If we remove something material from the plan you pay for, we will tell you and you may cancel and, for a 6 Months plan, receive a pro-rated refund of the unused period.
15. Governing Law And Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Nothing here requires arbitration or waives your right to bring a claim in your own courts.
Talk to us first: most billing problems are solved from Settings › Pro or with one ticket through Settings › Help › Contact us. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. French consumers may refer a dispute to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) after contacting us.
